Support groups:

There are currently four support groups in Rushmoor and Hart for women and men who have, or are currently, experiencing domestic abuse.

The groups offer unconditional, positive and non-judgemental support where you will be able to meet with others who have also experienced domestic abuse and have the benefit of support from the group facilitator who will help you explore the important issues for you.

Support for perpetrators of domestic abuse

The ADAPT programme seeks to achieve long term behavioural change for perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse. The course consists of an individual assessment followed by 30 week group work programme. This programme is run by the Hampton
Trust on behalf of the North East Hampshire Domestic Violence Forum and has been funded by the Henry Smith Charity, The Police Authority, Hampshire Constabulary, Safer and Stronger Community Fund, Hart District Council, Rushmoor Borough Council and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Hampshire County Council.
